Whether managing custom residential builds, high-rise developments, or commercial projects, disentangling months of RFIs, daily logs, submittals, and change orders manually consumes hundreds of billable hours, delays schedules, and inflates party budgets.

The Promise (and Real Limits) of Generative AI

Emerging AI-driven case preparation tools offer rapid data indexing, synthesizing, and pattern recognition, promising to shave 20% to 25% off initial document review timelines. However, speed without technical accuracy is a dangerous liability.

An algorithm can cross-reference dates across thousands of pages in days rather than weeks, but it cannot understand job-site context, evaluate human credibility, or account for verbal modifications made on-site that never hit a formal log.

The Essential "Human Guardrail"

Disputing parties can leverage AI to establish their evidentiary foundations, but raw data synthesis does not equal an enforceable, binding resolution. Translating complex construction records into a fair, legally sound outcome requires an experienced neutral who understands both the technology behind the data and the commercial realities of the job site.
